Allysen Kerr is an award-winning entrepreneur, brand strategist, author, and multi-hyphenate creative whose work bridges storytelling, design, and business strategy. A graduate of the University of Florida’s College of Journalism and Communications, Allysen mastered the art of crafting narratives and developed a deep passion for design and online media—skills she has since leveraged to help leaders and organizations bring their visions to life.
Originally from New York and proudly Jamaican-American, Allysen launched her first venture at just 20 years old, gaining early experience in transforming ideas into thriving realities. She went on to found and serve as the editor and publisher of Adapt Magazine, a faith-based lifestyle publication that reached readers in more than 10 countries. Allysen has been featured on CNN, and she is widely recognized for her ability to create brands and experiences that challenge the status quo while driving meaningful results.
As the founder and CEO of Prymel Elements, a Tampa-based strategic branding and marketing agency, Allysen partners with entrepreneurs, nonprofits, and small-to-midsize organizations to build culture-bending brands, implement impactful marketing strategies, and increase revenue. To date, her agency has served more than 300 clients across industries.
A respected leader in the business community, Allysen currently serves as President of the National Association of Women Business Owners – Greater Tampa Lakeland, representing and advocating for women entrepreneurs throughout West Central Florida. She is a Past President of the University of Florida Alumni Association – Tampa Gator Club, where she helped generate more than $70,000 for student scholarships and launched the club’s first Past Presidents Council. She also served as an advisory board member for Mentoring with Purpose Charity, a mentor for the Nonprofit Leadership Center’s Advancing Racial Equity on Nonprofit Boards Fellowship, and is a member of Forbes BLK.
